The skin remains uninjured. That is the key difference from microneedling: no open channels, no redness for days, no downtime. In return, the stimulus to the skin is also lower – both have their place.
Which active solution is used depends on what your skin needs right now: moisture, soothing or strengthening. We decide that after the skin analysis, not before.
How the appointment works
- Skin analysis
We look at the condition of your skin and choose the active solution accordingly.
- Cleansing and preparation
The skin is cleansed. A short exfoliation beforehand often makes sense – I decide that depending on the condition of your skin.
- Mesoporation zone by zone
The handpiece is guided over face, neck and décolleté while the active solution is applied. You feel a light tingling, nothing more.
- Leave to work
A mask or compress gives the active ingredients time. This is the part of the appointment when most people fall asleep.
- Finishing care
Finally, care tailored to your skin is applied, together with sun protection.
Afterwards: results and care
Straight after the appointment the skin usually looks plumper and more evenly hydrated. Redness usually doesn't occur – which is why mesoporation is also suitable if you have plans the same evening.
Aftercare is simple: no exfoliation and no sauna that day, and, as always, sun protection. Make-up is fine after a few hours.
As a single treatment, mesoporation is a refresher. As a course over several appointments, it is something else. I'll tell you honestly what makes sense in your case – even if the answer is “once is enough”.
