The Porcelain Skin Effect Complex is a coordinated sequence of cleansing, active ingredient application and a final mask. The aim is an even, matte complexion with a visibly finer surface – the effect called “doll face” on social media.
What's special is the duration: 40 minutes. That means the treatment fits into a lunch break and is suitable for the day before a party, a photo shoot or an important appointment.
To be honest about it: the effect lasts days, not weeks. If you want to change something fundamental about your complexion, aqua dermabrasion, mesoporation or microneedling are the more suitable treatments – and I'll tell you that even if you book this one.
How the appointment works
- Short consultation
We clarify when your occasion is and whether your skin is irritated at the moment. I don't treat irritated skin.
- Cleansing
Make-up off, skin prepared. If the pores are visibly clogged, I'll point out that an aqua dermabrasion beforehand would do more.
- Applying active ingredients
The selected active ingredients are applied in layers and massaged in.
- Mask
The final mask is left on for a few minutes. This is the quiet part of the 40 minutes.
- Finish
Care and sun protection are applied. You can put make-up on again the same day.
Afterwards: results and care
Straight after the appointment the skin looks more even and matte, and light is reflected more evenly. That is exactly why the treatment is popular before photo shoots.
Aftercare is minimal: no additional exfoliation that day, sun protection as always. Make-up is no problem, even the same evening.
The effect lasts a few days. For lasting changes to your complexion, you need a treatment that works more deeply – we're happy to talk about that if you like.

There are situations in which a treatment cannot take place – for example with inflamed skin, acute infections, certain medications or during pregnancy. The full overview is in the treatment notes.
